I like the looks of the ss tank,but mine has been lined once already.Dont know if it was kreem or some other sealer.So.being sealed once and the amount of rust in there now(not to mention rust-thru)i dont know if it will clean up with acid or not.Probably what i'll do is cut mine into with the plasma,sand blast the innards and weld it back together. I got another tank i want to use the flip top filler off of,but hate to cut up a real nice tank. Fooling with old cars has made me appreciate the rarity of certain things and,though i am not into restorations,i hate to ruin good surviving parts. I may just go with 'glass and make life easy,but its not as easy as it sounds getting bungs on a 'glass tank for plumbing and such. If i could find a healthy ss tank i would use it as is.No knee inserts or flip top.No suck luck as of yet.Well,probably knee inserts...i lied.Oh well,guess i oughta really get get it running good first.
