blinkers stopped working

ok so here's the problem i have a 1975 cb750f and the other night me and a friend wired in a set of lights to come on when the hi-beams come on and now my blinkers dont work i can hear the relay click once as the front blinker turns off and agen as the back turns on and that's where it stops it does the same for the left and the right. so if some one cold try and point me in the right direction thatd be awesome thx
