If it turns out to be the rotor, don't buy a used one online unless whoever is selling it can tell you what the Ohm reading across the rings are. And they warranty it if it's bad. Best bet is to look in your area for a repair shop for bikes..ask about used rotors and then go there with a multimeter in hand and check the ohms on the used ones yourself....if its too low...forget it...make sure its between 4 and 5 ohms across the slip rings.
