Thanks for the tips, Piute. Like I said to devildawg, I am waiting to get my new regulator in to see how that effects things before I begin with the carbs.

However, when I replaced the plugs with the new iridium's ans cleaned all the coil connections, that seem so help, if not resolve, the uneven heat distribution.

Verifying that the plugs are hooked up in the proper sequence is also good advice, as my coils have been changed.
