no spark

bout to run some erands and had hard time starting bike. sounded like crap, found that passenger side pipe not heating up. looked through other write ups, found nothing to help. kinda cheating askin you guys before i investigate my self. where to start? plug,wire, not sure after that. gonna do my chores b4 i start wrenchin. maybe somebody can post a lil moral support and some trouble shootin tips before i start.
