Cycle exchange two carb conversion?

Hi there I'm new to the forum and have a question for the experienced wrenches/builders. From my lurking you seem like a very helpful bunch! The Y intake manifold and 34mm carb kits for the cb750 look really neat, has anyone used them? Is frame modification required? Make life easier over the four carb system? I came across them on the build done at "anatomyofacaferacer". I'm currently hunting for a project bike and have found one without carbs hence my query.
