Here's an update.

I changed the oil and the oil filter. The oil was clean. No pieces of metal. So does that mean my engine isn't falling apart?

I wanna start synching the carbs. Tools said to check the points, valves and chain. I have the manual, but Is there a simplified version on how to do these things?? I ordered the synch gauges from eBay. Do I need to purchase any thing else in order to get these things done?
