i need an answer please

Ok I got a customer with a 82 cb750f supersport. We rebuilt the crabs changed the plugs, wires etc and did a check up. Bike wad not running when he brought it to me. Now it runs like a champ until it hits 60mph then that's it it will not go any faster. Compression checks out good timing checks good crabs are synced and set properly in their boots. New air filter all stock setup. Gears check out good and it runs great till you hot 60 or so. I can not find and reason why this thing won't run any faster. And believe me I've have looked. Customer is happy buy I'm not not till its right. I am hoping one of you guys that own and ride one of these will have a clue cause I just don't know were else to look. Please help. And forgive my missspelling I've had one of those days. Thanks for whatever help you may have.
