Just got a call from the bike seller. He got the title out of the safe and it looks like it is still in the previous owners name. I told him if he wants the sale to go through, we need a receipt and bill of sale from that guy so when I go to register it, he won't be able to say he never sold it, it was stolen. (At least he knows the guy, has his number, and he still lives near by!) I knew there would be a monkey with a wrench! I know the DMV down here is going to want to transfer the bike into the current owners name before they will transfer it to me. This may be a problem. Darn. Well, the bike is worth the hassle. We'll try it and see how easy this is. Maybe I'll have to wait another week or two before I can ride it.


Got another call, he looked at the back of the title and it WAS signed over to him…in Florida, that means we're good to go!
