I know what you mean about driving at night on back roads.I kinda live out in the "country",my driveway alone is 1/2 a mile long.I got two headlights from Advance Auto for my bike. You may not like the 2 headlight look,if so you can just start ignoring me now.I wanted 2 lites in case one failed I still had light.A backup.I pointed one up al lil and one down a lil, both of them slightly spread apart.Lights up the road great.Almost equal to the headlights on my 01 Silverado on high!Left one comes on on the low beam setting. When switched to high, activates a really to bring on the right side light, while the left one remains on.These lights were only 35 watts each. The factory high beam is 55 w,i think im correct on this.So I am only adding 15w of extra current draw to the system.15 watts is equal to a little over 1 amp,so its minimal. Also,my low beam that feeds off the factory harness has a very yellow look to it(need to do list),while the high beam is bright white. It draws it power thru the relay i used directly off the battery. What im saying, there is brightness to be had just by bypassing the old 35 year old wiring harness and shooting straight from the battery. That, and i also used a much larger gauge wire(12 ga.)which offers less voltage drop than the factory in perfect condition. Its just what i did.Throwing it out there.Im curious how good your current light works. It doesnt look that bad and it looks more cafe than my dual lite setup,i think. If its bright and the wiring is already sorted out,id just pop a headlight visor on it(to help look a lil ol skool)and ride it like it is.Jmo
