I was wondering about the HHO generator on your truck.Could you enlighten me,please?
Ok my truck is a 2002 4x4 Explorer Sport Trac 4.0. I installed a dry cell in my truck feeding directly into throttle body. I have a Maf enhancer, an o2 sensor enhancer, a reservoir, pump, numerous flash suppressors, & gaugesages.

Ok that said, the truck gets 15.9 MPG stock. With the HHO setup I usually get 19MPG I have on occasion gone as high as 22 MPG. The problem is that it is farmaintenanceenence free. Because of the ECU, the system requires considerable tweaking to the enhancers in order to fool the cpu. The principle behind the HHO is you are abseverelyeverly lean out the gasoline mixture (which give you the better mileage) by using HHO as a catalyst to burn the gasoline more efficiently. The problem is the ECU is a PITA and makes adjustments to the fuel delivery system to compensate for the lean burn system.

Because it is so fussy, I now only use it on long highway trips.

Now if you install this on an older non ECU vehicle, you don't need half of the electronics. Once you retard the timing & add the HHO to the mix, it is set. My 1974 Beetle has a drycell in it & it went from 22 mpg to just over 30 mpg with very little maintenance.

Now in order to compensate for the electrical draw & get even better mpg (think how you car get lower MPG with the A/C on), you should power the cell with an external source. I am looking into TEGs (Thermoelectric Generator) It converts heat into electricity.

Eventually Fiona will become an HHO Hybrid. I plan on using TEGs to harness the heat off the 4 exhaust pipes to assist in running the cell since the CB750 charging system & battery is are very low power producers

So in short...old cars without computers or diesels are great for HHO. OBD1 & 2 vehicles are too fussy for a practical low maintenance application.
