I bought an air horn, compressor and horn mounted as a relatively small, integrated unit (Wolo "Bad Boy Horn," I think it was called), a few years ago.  The horn pointed forward, and I could not figure out a decent way to mount it, so the horn would not scoop air, mud, and rain, as I drove.  Sold it on CL.  I did, however, pick up a Hi/Lo pair of automotive disc horns.  I suspect they need to be wired through a relay, as you did, to get their full volume (not nearly as loud as I expected them to be...).  That will make a nice Spring project.

The air horns are super-loud, but aiming them, without blocking, or pointing them the wrong way, is a challenge.  On a car, it is not nearly so critical.  If you find a way that works, please share!  Cheers!
