It would be hard to say if you have a 1000 kit. One way to tell is to look between the fins, look for weld marks. Many 1000 cc kits had to be welded to stop oil leaks so that is one way to tell. It could be possible that the bike just has some external parts on it though. Unless you can find some info on it from the previous owner, opening the motor is the only way to be sure.
