Prices are all over on used bikes. It really depends on your area. His asking price seems high, to me, but for my area, it is high, your area may be different. In the end, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. When I sold my 1983 Kawasaki 440 LTD Belt Drive bike (QuickSilver Fairing, Trunk, 13,000 miles, with new tires), this past Summer, I got $1,000 for it -- and it truly was a turn-key bike, needing nothing. In my area, CB750's range from $800-$1,800. What's it worth to you? That is the only way to tell its true value. Cheers!
