Hey J man,
             When i 1st seen my bike at night ,I thought I had a short in tail lights But come to find out I don't get running lights in rear on this bike stock,SO I added double element socket and bulbs,  I say this cause maybe some-one added to yours ,as others "slick ,Ribs"?were saying Check those wires may not be stock at all...Piute...
