I never realized you were in VA,too. Yeah,its not too bad down here.If you ride in the teens and the humidity is up,say above 60-70 %,with no windshield,and no heated clothes/gloves,you little piggies get right cold.But it's still doable.I'm 30 miles from my closest grocery store,auto parts store...basically anything but a gas station.The fuel savings are just too good to pass up.Note:riding 40 miles with a car battery in a back pack gets HEAVY.Not recommended.
