thanks for all the advise ive taken off the carbs and cleaned them out completly they're now just awaiting a new set of seals.

on the tank issue, i think im gunna strip it down as its still painted atm, and see all the damage and try and get quotes from some local welders and see if that works out cheaper than buying a shiney new one.

im looking in to getting a pair of side panels made as i know someone who runs his own cnc workshop. but if anyone can help me get some that would still be great.

i'll also post a picture of it before i started taking it apart as soon as i can
