I completely understand.
I bought a van  used and the car lot I bought the van
from removed some beat up grey shelving, and left the bolt holes in the floor of the van.
I had several episodes when driving of getting very sleepy.
One day I put 2 and 2 together and realized I was getting Carbon monoxide poisoning.

It almost got me killed one day. I put duct tape over
the holes and that was the end of the problem.
