I have an el-cheapo trickle charger from Harbor Freight. I have had it about 5 years and used it regularly on my four wheelers with good results.I have been using it on my bike for the past few months and it seems to be doing well. Can't beat it for 10 bucks.

I cut the clamps of the trickle charger and put a weather pack connector in the end,made a harness to go to the battery terminals so I can plug it in every day since my seat is bolted down and I cannot just hinge it open to get to the battery.
