Easiest way to tell is to run it all out of your tank.  I know if you add too much SeaFoam to your gas, it will affect the engine -- it will run on pure SeaFoam, but it won't run well...  I would assume all fuel system cleaners will have a similar effect.  Best of luck.  Cheers!
