So after spraying with primer and scuffing up, to get a patina look, I couldnt stop. I kept sanding and sanding and sanding....then a little bondo....and sanded some more. I kept finding little dents and kept fixing them. After all that mess I figured since I spent all the time filling and blocking that I should just go ahead and finish her with a solid color instead of patina. But its all good, Im sticking to my original plan and thats unusual for me. I usually bounce around and cant ever stick to it.
So the tank is officially in primer.....seeeeeeeeeeee?? ooooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhhh

And while I was waiting on the bondo and primer to dry an idea struck me! Ive been trying to think of a place to mount my led indicator lights, when *WHAM!!!* itd been right in front of my nose the whole time...literally! I had a perfectly good headlight bucket that needed to have a few extra holes in it and this is what I ended up with:

its out of the way, in perfect viewing range and it puts the wires right in the other bundle of wires without having to re-route them, so its a win win...win? Now all it needs is a good coat of paint and my headlight can finally make its home on my bike, instead of in a box!? yipeeeeee!
