I found this steering damper for $25 with free shipping. Looks like the exact same one dimecity sells for $175.LOL not gonna happen. I have found several 35mm mounting brackets right around the $20-25 range,and DCC wants $50 for them.Their prices are overly inflated from what I can tell. Any opinions on this piece?

I also found this pic with the damper installed as so. Looks kinda...well...not over-lookable. Do they have to mount front to back? I was wanting to mount it sideways and possibly hide it between the triple trees.Thats how i mounted one on a 4 wheeler I used to have. I guess it all boils down to leverage. What do you guys think for mounting position? For $25 it's kinda hard to go wrong.
