Thanks Mark,but I need something a little bigger.Probably at least 8" by 12" per side to get the entire area covered.Those bushings in your link are for the front tank mounts.Also too small but I do appreciate you looking!

Hellbilly,he wood burning tool is something my Pops and I discussed.I think it would work as long as you wouldn't overheat it and make it start cracking. But the intricate designs you mentioned is definitely apart of what I want. Which throws the spray on bedliner idea out for this particular project.Sorry ToolsBut only sorta...I could make what I want out of aluminum and then coat it with rubber.I could cut,grind,knurl alot of design into a piece of metal...hmm,just might work.

I think we're on the same page Half-Caf. I need to find something like that around here. There is a company in town called Motion Industires that deals with alot of conveyer belt systems and such.I think I'll shop there.

There a ton of really affordable knee pads on ebay,but none that look like they would work on my tank.Too bad someone doesn't make need pads for a GS. That would just make my life way too simple.
