Thanks for the tip. Your engine looks great. I am still going to pull the engine. I to have a small leak in the cylinder head cover and I want to repair that and get the cover polished and you have to pull the engine to do it. Also while the engine is out I am going to check all the seals and replace any that look like they may be leaking. I also want to get paint on the back of the trans case and on the bottom also. I can pull the engine out in a few hours but you do need a second set of hands to do the final lifting. I will use towels and duct tape to cover up the frame so it does not get scratched. I have gone so far with this bike that I just want to finish it up perfect. Everything else is and I am kicking myself in the but for not painting the engine when it was out for the restore but it looked pretty good then so I passed. Big mistake on my part. I have a $1000 in just paint on the bike as it is now so why not just finish the job and I will be finally done.
All stock except Dyna-S solid state ignition and tires. It has 32,000 original miles. The complete bike has had a frame bare restore.
