I had the same problem on the same cylinder. On mine,it was the socket I was using. The opening of the socket had a real long roll on the edges and it wouldn't let it go down far enough to grab the plug. I grabbed another socket and it worked.Got lucky.You can try grinding or filing your socket so that the end of it is nice and flat,if you dont mind doing that
