Twenty-five years ago, I liked to drag the pegs, but not anymore.  We just rode the 750, two-up, a couple of weeks ago, for 120 miles on a day trip.  No issues, no concerns -- bike performed flawlessly.  I ride pretty tamely, so I am not an expert on their sporty capabilities.  For sedate, tour riding, they're superb.  Beyond that, I just don't know.  Sorry.  Cheers!
