Goodluck FastC!  I have some issues with mine too.  I have to be patient and sort things out.  At least I have another bike to ride while I fool with the "vintage bike".  
Ok, put a little seafoam in my gas and got it fired up!  Runs like shit while it runs!  Won't stay running, discharged my new battery, so back onto the charger and another gallon of fresh gas tomorrow and  try, try again!  Hoping the seafoam will keep me from having to tear open the carbs.
