Tools,you are right about the all thread.I meant bolt. Thanks for keeping an eye on me.
My air compressor decided to do a little rotating mass lightening trick tonight.

Poor execution. This compressor locked up 6 or 7 years ago when the oil drain plug rattled out if it. I worked the crank back and forth til it freed up and it has running fine ever since. I guess it was just a matter of time

So....I shoved the one dangling rod up out of the way of the crank ( it sounded bad,but hilarious),filled it back up with oil(no need to use a funnel this time)and duct taped the hole shut. So far so good! Surprisingly, no oil is leaking and the recovery is not as bad as expected. It even seems to be running ok as far as balance goes. I cautiously put my hand on it and it feels real smooth! Who needs two pistons?! Lets see how long it lives this time!
