Several options for the rust in the tank. Buy some liquid liner stuff called RED-KOTE or BLU-KOTE. Both are available from tractor and equipment stores and work fine for a while according to others, never used them myself. Or take a handful of small steel balls (BB size), put them in the tank, seal it and start shaking & shaking & shaking and shake some more. Give to kids to shake. Pour out ALL the steel balls, which is harder than it sounds. Looks like new inside.
