Too dangerous for me to ride that way.

I don't like putting my life into the hands of some random car driver who isn't paying attention and could easily drift within their lane to hit me.

Its also considered stunt riding in Ontario and if the cops catch you there is a good chance you won't see your bike again and you'll have a few thousand in fines to deal with.

Ah, human pride, ain't it something.  They are wrong but will die before admitting it.

My pet peeve is when some uneducated schmuck hogs the passing lane.  I've learned to just use my bike's handling and small profile to just pass them in between lanes.
