If you're like me, the best way to learn is by getting your hands dirty!
The FSM, Clymer, and this forum are all great resources to help you along the way.
If you're mechanically inclined, you should do pretty well as there's nothing super complicated going on with these bikes -I bet you'll be surprising yourself in a couple months with all the things you've done.

Oh yeah, have fun with it too
