That makes sense. If you go with clip ons vs a drag bar could you reuse what you have?

To answer your question on which way they go,it doesnt matter. The instructions that cam with my progressives said they could go either way. I put the close wound coils at the top,to keep them from displacing fork oil and throwing the level off.
