Reinstalling engine in frame

Hi All,
I have my 75 down refurbishing everything. Engine is all cleaned, painted and polished and frame painted.
Is there a easy way to put the motor back in without scratching everything. Frame is not on wheels yet.
My brother seems to think laying the motor on it's side and dropping frame over it to install.
Any thoughts. I will post some pics of restoration.
