I would think 1/2'' would be unrideable . If you can get it true with the spokes then it would probably be OK. I dont know if it would be spokes or a bent rim being that far off. Even if it was rideable it would have to eat tires like crazy. Factory spec on runout is .080'' max.

I would definitely do something about it before riding it anymore. Good luck and be safe!
