Luke and Shinny, Thanks for your moral support. The oil pan isn't a big deal really, I have the engine out of the frame and on a bench with the oil drained out. So I'll flip it over and support it with wood blocks only about 6 bolts I think. I already tried the coat hanger trick and the hook just tears at the end of the towel. But, you got me thinking. Shop Vac. duct tape a small piece of pvc to the end of my hose. Put the PVC flush with the oil port and suck it out... maybe.

I'm calling the chain oiler the wrong term. What I mean is the bolt that holds the sprocket on the out put shaft has an O ring on it. and mine is leaking. I'm not sure if the mating metal parts are damaged or I just need a new O ring. I'm the 3rd or 4th owner and based on the condition of other parts of the bike and engine this thing has had a lot of neglected maintenance.
