lotson,my cables are the original ones to the bike. I thought I was gonna need new shorter cables to with my clubmans. It took a couple hours of fiddling but i did finally get them working ok. I say ok and not perfect. When my bars are turned full right it does hold the throttle open some. I really dont care for that for the same reasons you mentioned. Exactly right,what if you are not still on and the throttle is hung open
Run away scooter!!!!! I have adapted Oiute's way of just closing the throttle manually,which you sorta do anyway without really thinking about it,but it would be nice to know it would snap shut if need be. I guess i really do need shorter cables,huh?
