SE Minnesota, Rochester.  Near the Mississippi River valley (We've been around the middle of Illinois, along the River -- beautiful, no matter what part of the River's coastline, thus far!).  This part of the country (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois) offer some fantastic riding country, with vast differences available, within an 8-hour riding distance.  Canada is not too far away, either, and Ontario is gorgeous country, as well:  take a ride to Kenora, if you possibly can!  Riding around Lake Superior, if you ever get the chance, is some of the prettiest country on Earth, no matter what part of the coastline you ride near.  Cheers!
