ok i have a 1980 758f, and im having the same issue bike cranks and ran fine up till yesterday, yesterday i peged it out and now it acking as your is but when i get it up to 4grand is when it starts the same i have the k&n air filter were are the jets located and how can u tell if ur gas cap vent is working truble n texas any thang will help
