Oil leak!

Hey everyone!

I am new to the forum and have hardly any mechanical ability but figured it would be nice to hear from some
Pros about a conundrum my '77 F2 has presented me with.

The bike recently has had the head gasket replaced and is finally able to start. Other than an exhaust leak at the head and the carbs needing to be synced very badly, it should be ready to go. Well not quite. Recently after taking it for a test drive I noticed the carbs need to be synced so badly it's almost unrideable. After my short test run I got it back in my garage only to hear a 'squeaking' sound that seems to be very rhythmic when turning over. It almost sounds like it is coming from one of the cylinders. After hearing this I didn't want to run the motor to prevent any further damage. However, the noise comes and goes. After letting the bike run for 2 or 3 minutes and shutting it down, it now leaks about a fist sized puddle of oil that seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine. My neighbor and long time family friend, who specializes in Harley's, is taking a look at it for me for a graduation present. As he claims to not have very much knowledge on these vintage Japanese bikes, he is baffled on what this could be. I am really concerned about the oil leak and the metal on metal sound that the bike is making more times than not. If anyone has had this problem or knows what I could do to further diagnose this problem it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys,

Steve
