So it turns out the frame was bent, the forks were bent, the stem tree etc...I managed to find a parts bike in my area with a clean title and sound frame.  Over the last few weeks I did a complete swap.  I had a friend shim the engine and sync up the carbs.  

Here's a pic of what of I have today.
