Carb syncing is when you get all four carbs reading the proper amount of vacuum thru them,and all of them synchronized at the same level of vacuum. It requires a set of carb sync gauges to do,and sounds worse than it really is. It's not a bad job at all that any one can handle no problem. Ebay usually has some good deals on carb sync kits. Usually around $60-80.

On the DOKC bikes,such as yours,the carbs can be kinda hard to tune if you stray far from stock.But it can be done with a little patience. There are plenty of guys here that can help you out with this for sure. Just going to a 4-1 should not require much tuning,unless you ditch the muffler. With the muffler/baffle in place you should be OK
