And for the record, a Ford 300-6 is one of my two all time favorite engines. The two most dependable and durable engines ever built was the Ford 300-6 and the 350 Chevrolet. I have never saw any pre-1975 ish engines(when electronic ignitions came out) go over 200,000 miles without a rebuild...except the mighty 300 or the 350.
Ford and Chevy were crazy to discontinue those two engines!
I need to find that pic of a front engine dragster with a 6-71 blown alky 300-6 on it. It looked wild with the blower hanging off to one side
