Pistons expand and contract during normal operation,but you know that. You still have to bore your jugs right? So actual piston slap will not an issue for you since you'll actually be machining for those pistons. The rattle I was actually talking about is,I have seen guys deburr little scratches like you mentioned and get so carried away that they flat spot an area and it made the piston rattle in the same bore it used to fit in. You'll be fine. Dont let anything i said concern you. I talk too much and shoulda just been quiet.
