Electrasport rotors

Has anyone else had an experience with Electrasport Rotors? I bought a new one, got 500 miles on it and then when I got the RPM's up to 6g for the first time the insulation exploded and grounded out my bike. Blew a fuse and had to hauled back to the shop. Opened up the cover and the cover was filled with the insulation from the rotor.
