I cleaned out the stater area with carb cleaner, looked for any broken wires ect didn't see anything and reinstalled the cover and started the engine. Rechecked the voltage only 11.5 @ idle and 12.3 @ 3000 rpm its not charging. Will any of the charging parts interchange with a 74 750? I see the rectifier is different and stater plug looks different too.
I first bought a 1974 CB 750 with only 12,000 miles at a yard sale from the original owner with a froze motor from sitting in a barn in Canada. The original owner said they don't use titles in Canada, but promised to get me the registration. I said here in south fla we need titles or you can't get a licesne plate so I will need proper paper work.
Its been 8 weeks and no return call yet. I grew tired quickly and wanted to ride, so I bought the 75 SS.
