Oilers are awesome really. A scottoiler works awesome.
I don't have one but have heard good things about them.
Me, I rarely need to adjust my chain but I use an o-ring chain. I lube it every few hundred miles and clean it once a summer or so. In short, I give little attention to my chain!
It has held up very well though.
