I wish that was the case shiny. The threads didn't strip, half of the plug just broke off. 2 big pieces fell to the ground. I have a picture but it won't  let me upload from my iPhone.

The reason I ask about the years, is because eBay has a few 78k oil pans for 80-100 bucks. Then I found other years for 20-30. The shape is the same, but mine has lines going down it, and the others have a smooth circle in the middle of it.

The shape and bolts are all the same.

Should I buy the gasket as well? It's only $15
