Well I got the motor put back together this morning. Got it all put back together about 5pm. Unfortunately the battery I got doesn't fit. But I hooked up jumper cables and, after sitting for almost two years, she fired on all 4 cylinders straight away. This may seem like a no-big-deal outcome, except this bike has NEVER fired on all four at start-up since I bought it four years ago. It ALWAYS misses on one cylinder until it gets warm. Throttle response is great and she sounds alive and pissed off. Just the way I like it. Can't wait to get the right battery so I can take her for a spin.
