ugh, forgot about sprockets. Thanks for the pointers guys. The chain/sprocket set currently on my bike only have 9000 miles on them tops because that's how many the bike has, but they are probably the originals so they're, what, 33 years old? I might have to stick with them for a little longer though. I know I shouldn't wait too long on replacing them, but how can I tell when they absolutely have to go?
