I got burned out on drag racing. I love the sport and the thrill it brings,but it demands a lot of time. So I decided to try a change of pace. Motorcycles. A CB750 fell in my lap and 1 year later I have 1 on the road,1 very close to rideable and one in the works. If something bores me or I am no longer passionate about it-I change gears.Before drag racing I used to dunk trucks in the mud for fun. I got tired of that after one too many snapped axles. Dirt bikes before that,then 4 wheelers. I worked towards competitive shooting one time,but lost interest real quick in that-too much sitting around and nothing to 'build? I'll never make a job out of a hobby. I knew guys who raced because they thought it would make them seem cool,rather than because they actually wanted to. They were miserable. I've never hit a slump.Dont sit still long enough. It whatever I'm doing stops making my blood run-I find something that does.

If you want it ,build it. If you change your mind during the build,so be it-build it different. Maybe you should just step away from it for a while.Better yet,go to a bike show. When you see all the other gleaming machines you'll be inspired to get back on your project! Either way-just do whatever makes you enjoy life. Everything else is a complete waste of your time-regardless of what others may think.
